Can be used for pain, migraine headaches, fever, colitis, menstrual problems, muscle tension and arthritis.
The herbs sesquiterpene lactones inhibit inflammatory prostaglandins and histamines. Feverfew increases fluidity of lung and bronchial tube mucus, promotes menses and stimulates the appetite and uterine contractions. This herb contains borneol, camphor, parthenolide, pyrethrins, santamarin, terpene, iron, niacin, manganese, potassium, phosphorus, selenium, silicon, sodium, zinc, vitamin A and E.
